How to use Extrude tool in 3dmax?

here is a youtube.com tutorial. basically, you add a Exturde modifier to your face plane you want to extrude.How to use Extrude tool in 3dmax?
First create something to extrude. For example a profile curve or any other geometric shape.


Then go to modifiers panel -%26gt; Extrude and set the amount you want the profile to be extruded to.
