How do you edit autocad file in 3dmax?

i've imported autocad file into 3dmax n rendered it already,


but i forgot some shape, n i have to edit it.........


so is it possible to edit it in 3dmax??

I tell you one of the methods which we usually use when we don't know how to edit in max.


Delete that shape from max(select hit delete)


Go back to Autocad file edit that shape or add more shapes if you want.Make sure they are at the right exact place. Save this file with a new name ( Say ';missing shapes.dwg'; )..then from this file delete all the other objects that have already gone to MAX and they are good there. Hit save.





Now open the Max file ..and import the missing shape file exactly the same way you imported the original file. The new edit shapes will come at exactly the same place.How do you edit autocad file in 3dmax?
It depends what version of Autocad your running; if it's the latest one I think you can, but if its an older one you can't.





I'm not sure on how to edit Autocad files in 3dmax but like I said, you need the latest version of Autocad.
